Learning From My Wagering Failures
1st to clarify why I write this essay. I have been wagering on the web or at a brick and mortar casinos for a great many years. I have discovered, the dependency can take a hold of you and you won’t even notice it until you are penniless. Particularly if you’re on a winning run. I have gone through countless thousands of dollars in only a tiny amount of time and to this day on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It seems you are just having fun until you start to track your defeats and the anguish sets in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can earn it back" constantly. It does not works. Then you become queasy in your stomach and the more you attempt the faster you lose.
When you notice that you are ahead, STAY on the UP! When you start to be beaten, don’t tell yourself, "well perhaps just one more" and over and over again, trust me, this plan hardly ever operates. Say you are playing on slots, have an amount set aside prior to starting your play. DO NOT exceed that limit, regardless how tempting. If you actually succeed, put that in a separate canister. Don’t risk your winnings no matter what. Once you have gambled through your primary set limit, stop. Head out, whether it is on the internet or at a land based casino, do not stay around. Always keep in mind, there will be another day, another time.
Always remember, wagering is supposed to be exciting not exhausting, sickening work! If you are not having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan’t manage the cost, don’t even start.
