Don’t Have an Alcoholic Beverage … Play!
If you like to have a cocktail occasionally, leave your cash out of the casino if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your purse, your billfold, and leave all cash, charge cards and checkbooks at home. Take whatever cash you expect to spend on alcohol, tipping and few dollars you expect to burn and keep the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Not really. Just realistic. You might have a win after a boozy evening out with your friends and be lucky enough to hook a long roll at a hot craps table. Keep that story considering that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continuously consume alcohol and wager. The two simply do not mix.
Leaving your money out of the casino might be a little bit drastic, but precautionary measures for excessive behavior is required. If you gamble to win, then do not drink and bet. If you can afford to throw away your $$$$ nary a worry, then consume all the free booze your stomach are able to handle, but don’t pack plastic credit and cheques to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your inebriated head throws away every little thing!
Permit me to take this a single step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then hop online to bet in your preferred online casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the comfort of my condo, but because I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards in close proximity, I can’t drink and bet.
Why? Although I don’t consume alcohol to excess, when I drink, it’s definitely adequate to blur my better judgment. I wager, so I don’t consume alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, do not bet at the same time. The two mix up for a ferocious, and crazy, drink.
